Ready for a new home!

This cute guy is SO ready for his new home. We thought he had one, but it didn't work out at the last minute. Now he's learning crate training and how to be a good boy. He's VERY smart, agile and would be an excellent performance dog. He also loves kids!

Boo (what I'm calling him - hey, it's almost Halloween!) is from the COUNTRY litter - out of Am/Can/NSDTRC-US CH Dyna, Am/Can WC, sired by BIS Am/Can CH Ranger, RN. He has very nice conformation..but is a mismark, so conformation will not be his "thing" lol

Been awhile! Now it's TIME!

It's a bit hard to keep up on a blog. I have a lot of respect for people who can do it...it's just been so much easier to post on Facebook! But I need to update this, so here goes.

Winnie had her final litter two weeks ago. The litter theme is TIME. She was bred to BIS CH Ranger, RN - there were only four puppies, but they are big and vibrant! They also appear to be getting daddy's black pigment.

Here's a short video:

Potty Time!

I thought this was cute...Mom Harmony is STILL cleaning up after the pups even tho' they are essentially weaned to raw food. But they are learning about the potty area, and here Harmony helps out...

MUSIC litter 5 weeks

The GANG is looking GREAT! You can see how pups grow at different stages - the top two have hit a spurt and have more leg...but generally the structure on all these pups is really nice and correct. Personalities are wonderful - very sweet & outgoing. They are just so much fun right now!

MUSIC litter moves

...this morning when I came home from work, Zydeco was happily meandering around the "puppy room" - outside of the box. I knew this was coming.

So today I put them in their new digs - a much larger area on the other side of the room with a big "bathroom" just off the "bedroom" LOL. They also got their first meal of ground turkey and goat's milk.

They are SUCH nice puppies. I love what I'm seeing - beautiful structure, very outgoing, sweet, playful...can't ask for any more!

Ranger Back-to-Back Group placements!

What a weekend. Ranger, aka CH JavaHill's Backwoods Boy, RN - a Maverick / Dilly son, has matured beautifully!!! We took him to Southern California's Mission Circuit where he took 3rd in Group on Sunday, 4th on Monday (the only two days we were there). This is a BIG show!

Here are a couple of short videos. He's got Daddy-tude to the Max! WARNING: I was pretty excited so my Woo-Woo's are LOUD. If you don't want to hear it, don't watch!!!!! I'm very proud of this boy and the way he turned out, so I'm not going to apologize for getting excited.

Music Pups Having Puppy Fun!

These pups just make me smile! Besides being CUTE to the max, they have a pedigree that should produce some real stars. Mom is very tightly related to the magnificent STORM, aka CH Beinnbhreagh's Take Em By Storm. Storm was bred to Maverick twice. The oldest puppies are not yet three - but there are already NINE CHAMPIONS! A few have Best Puppy titles, Group placements, working titles and CH's in Canada, the US and Australia!!!

Can you tell I'm excited?! LOL

MUSIC in HD ;o)

PAN PUPPIES!

The MUSIC litter gets to try something new - being in a pan! It's all part of the Super Puppy program, exposing them to minor stresses at this stage in order to help them cope later on. You can read more about it at www.BreedingBetterDogs.com

JavaHill's MUSIC Litter has arrived!

Yesterday afternoon, Harmony, who did no pacing or nesting, fooled me into thinking she wasn't going to have her pups until after midnight....so I left her in my bedroom - gone about an hour, and boom, boom - first two pups RIGHT ON MY BED & Pillows!

Amazingly, it wasn't a huge mess. Harmony is the cleanest girl, and the way she whelped... well, I now call her my NoDramaMama ;O)

She and Maverick are the happy parents of eight pups, six girls, two boys, pictures taken this morning.

Easter at JavaHill

Winnie is up to her old tricks! The gang has a great Easter Sunday with beautiful California weather. They didn't need an egg hunt to have a blast - just throw the ball, throw the ball!

Rock Climbers!

I'm a little behind...but this is about a week ago at our 7.5 week puppy evaluation. Thanks SO much to Dr. Wendy Wallace for her invaluable help and advise regarding placements and abilities of these pups. We know a lot of "nurture" makes for a great dog once they leave her. But it's VERY important to look at "nature" as well....not to mention structure, etc. DR. Wendy commented on how confident all the puppies were, and how well they played, both with their siblings, and with us.

The RED litter is now leaving for their new homes, and we hope their new families will enjoy them as much as I have...and I look forward to watching them grow and develop, and be part of our extended JavaHill Family!

Puppy Socialization

Pups had a GREAT time today playing with several different families. This was their first time out front. The weather was nice, but windy, and they really had a blast!

Mav's New Career?

Since Maverick is pretty much semi-retired from the show ring, he's looking into other things to do. Yesterday we spent much of the afternoon at a photo shoot for a national pet care company, and I took this short video. Maverick had a blast, and was able to do the tasks quite well, with only food for encouragement (what a surprise ;o)...even pretending to dig!

Puppy pictures - 4.5 weeks

We had a GREAT weekend. Lots of visitors to see the pups, met some really nice families who should make wonderful Toller owners. It always makes me happy to meet such nice people committed to making a dog apart of their family.

Got some fun video and pictures...here's a few. More on Webshots:

Okay, could they be any cuter?!

I pretty much say that every day, but that's because they change SO much day to day - it's really amazing to watch :O)

Pups getting more fun every day!

This is when puppies get REALLY fun! I lie in the box with them and they squeak and squawk, climb all over me, sniffing, mouthing. I can see their expressions as they check out new toys. VERY COOL time!

New AKC Champion: CH Tollchester California Dreamin' JavaHill (Harmony).

Getting very close: Can CH JavaHill Torri AlohaShine, RN (Torri) who lost yet another major when someone couldn't make it - but took Winner's for 2 points. She just needs a 3-pt major to finish.

New CD: JavaHill's Autumn Joy, RE, CD (Bliss)

New RN: Am/Can/NSDTRC-US CH JavaHill Steal My Heart, Am/Can RN, Can JH, Am/Can WC (Nicholas) who earned a PERFECT 100 while moving right along to finish 1st place over 30+ other dogs.

And congrats to Mick, who took Winners from the 6-9 puppy class on Monday. His picture is at the top. He's Fury x Cooper.

Great job!

Winnie IS pregnant!

Ultrasound shows around 8, tho' she was absorbing one...that said, she's really big for this stage!

Because I'm going to whelp the litter, the theme will no longer be "North" - we'll save that one for later ;o)

Sometimes it doesn't work out!

Sigh...no puppies this time for Dyna and Scotch. Sometimes it all looks good, but things just don't work out.

Here's hoping Winnie is pregnant...

Bored Tollers

I made this movie over a year ago, but had used a rock song (Another One Bites The Dust) which apparently violated copyright laws ;o( It doesn't matter that it was for my personal use and I made no money.

For whatever reason, YouTube and "artists" eg Big Companies are going after little folks like me who just want to post something fun....No, they want us to PAY for the pleasure of promoting their song!! OKAYYYY

So here it is, redone, with music available on the Movie software I use...
